Endless ocean endless sky is a collaborative project between movement artist Tahni Holt and architect Andrew Kudless. Endless ocean endless sky is a performance. It is told in 100 chapters, as in 100 vignettes, or 100 moments of information. There is a boy, there are birds, there is an airplane, an iceberg, there is hypothermia and hyperventilation.

For this work Andrew designed and built an inflatable iceberg that houses both theater and set within a single structure, blurring the distinction between internal and external space.

It is, in the end, a performance of containments: of the iceberg contained within the performance space, the audience and performers contained within the theater (iceberg), and of the stories and actions that are contained, and ultimately revealed, not only from within the performers but from within the audience as well.

Tahni Holt’s choreography has been performed at contemporary venues throughout the Northwest, including PICA’s TBA Festival, Conduit Dance, Disjecta; On the Boards and Bumbershoot in Seattle; and Drop Contemporary Dance in Boise.
